I did not mean to make you spend so much time. 
But I do find it very interesting, this work that you do. Naturally, you provided "logical" answers to the things I was questioning, which is also easier when you have the "facts." I think my curiosity is also piqued by the fact that a similar sort of thing took place near here a few years back, though not as high profile. That high profile thing is probably what makes me hold out on automatically "convicting" the husband, abusive or not. But I guess with a big enough ego, he would think he could get away with it...
