Re: NORTH sage
Thank you. It's nice to hear that others care about our loss. I think of people on Blogit as friends, even though we'd pass each other on the street without knowing.   Guy

Northsage, be as strong as you can for your Dad, but recognize and look after your own grief too. In similar circumstances, I have found that helping out with the practical things gave solace to all. But that's just me. Some UK thoughts and strength are winging their way to you.

Re: my sympathies and prayers are with you and your family
Last night the world lost a fine, smart and talented lady. Life will go on, but I expect that the sun won't be as bright, the sky quite as blue and the birds won't sing as sweetly. Thank you for your words of comfort.  Guy

Re: Guy, My deepest condolences to your family on the loss of your
It is kind of you to take the trouble to offer comfort to someone you've never even met. You must be a caring person and those are the best kind. Glad that you read my stuff and I'll look for what you write. If you want to try a different kind of escapist literature, try "Stranger in a strange land" by Robt. Heinlein. It'll open a whole new genre for you with this remarkable author's best work. You can thank me later,  Guy
