Julia, I missed alot of the fiasco but I must say Im sorry to see you go.
I will always appreciate the help and friendliness I got from you. I still havnt got my head around the whole thing and maybe it's simply because my private life has been so hectic of late. It's sad though that you're leaving with bad feelings after all the good you've experienced here. I hope you've kept copies of your writing because one day you will look back and maybe have a laugh. Im sorry that a personal tragedy that you had nothing to do with was used against you. you did not deserve that. I hope you go in peace now and have a happy,successful writing career and life. maybe I will catch you on helium or associated content. God bless you.

I was quite amazed by some of the over the top statements people made. I think you should be able to see that most people here understand you, and what you were trying to say. It is not right for popular bloggers to be getting there via stolen words, no matter what the circumstances. The multiple posts are also stemming from your desire to clarify your viewpoint. I find it ironic that some people flame you for expressing your own thoughts, but quickly forgive those stealing another's! Why does plagiarism rate "forgiveness and tolerance" and the ability to stand up for your own thoughts does not? As if it is even wrong for you to express your opinions of Blogit's policy enforcement...
Anyway, I understand why you would want to leave Blogit after this squabble, but I hope it is only a break. Don't feel the need to leave just to prove you weren't in it for the clicks. As if you would be. 
I still cannot believe a few of the things I read. Some bloggers should be ashamed.

You have so many other wonderful things to write about, stay and write them for us. If you give in to this and leave, you leave behind a part of yourself and this part is what people will remember. Stay, go on to a better subjects and let us love you for the wonderful woman that you are.

Julia, how horrible - I'm so sorry this issue disintegrated into such an
emotional brew - and I must plead guilty to being caught up in it, too. I disagreed with your view, but respected your right to express it. I did write a post yesterday out of wanting to have my say (now deleted) - my biggest point being that many, if not most of us here have behaved as..well, humans. Not constantly and consistently as serious writers looking to market our work - or even in some cases as honest, decent and above board individuals (not directed at you) I do believe all people deserve second chances though, yes, that includes plagiarism and includes remaining here, granted that it doesn't happen again - my view.
I am also sorry you've been hurt deeply by this. I like you immensely as a writer and person; have always valued your input on my efforts and enjoy your amusing takes on being quirky. Sigh - this is not amusing though. I can only pray your heart and all hearts affected find the healing strength of forgiveness. Thank you for the friendship, Julia.
