He was bipolar and for a time he was seeing things that weren't there, but this was before I met him.

Although I don't mean to get married...
...I will remember all your pointers here if I ever find myself thinking of it (and actually the one time I did nearly get married, it's quite scary how many of your pointers I can tick now so I'm glad I didn't).
Wow... you really went through it (and I'm sure still are) but you are doing so well,
best wishes,

Well, I didn't go for an STD checkup because I believe him that nothing happened that could actually lead to get an STD, but should I believe him?

It's sad really, when you realize that you married a stranger.

And another thing... once you're in the clear
and one more thing occurs to you that you coulda-shoulda-woulda done to solve all the problems -- write it down, wrap it in toilet tissue and flush it. Never, under any circumstances, give it a try.
My daughter sent me an email when she finally called it quits with her selfish alcoholic ex -- a Dr. Phil Question. Q. What's worse than staying in a bad relationship for nine years? A. Staying in it for nine years and one day.

This serves to further reinforce my previously held beliefs.
So the "happy ending" isn't just a standart part of the massage "package"?
I knew that bastard was lying!
When Gary told me he was having trouble with his wife, I had to laugh.
Not because of what he said, but because of a joke I thought of.
I told him the joke, but he didn't laugh very much.
Some friend he is!

Marriage vows mean nothing anymore, a shame. It has become too easy to get divorced.
