Re: My deceased husband used to say, "Don't mock the aflicted." Some people

I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes..just wanted to share about people needing to not be afraid to "try new things". When I watch someone, I don't remember it as well as when I do it for myself. But I get your meaning.  I didn't think of it as someone afflicted; just expressing that some people never "go that extra mile" to help another person. We need more people like that in this world.  But now that you have brought it to my attention, there are certain things that I can do well that my husband can't versus the things he does well, and I can't.

I read some of your blogs... and Attention Deficit Disorder comes to my mind.  I have it and so does my two daughters.  Now my 11 year old grandson is having problems in school because of it.  When you are in a group of people, do you find it hard to focus? That's with me.  I have found an herb (Rexall brandname) called Acetyl L-Carnitine 400 mg. plus Lipoic Acid 200 mg. that seems to help with my short term memory and being able to focus better.  My oldest daughter just graduated this summer with her degree but it was hard with a part-time job, children and husband and juggling her school schedule, too.  But she made it so I'm sure you can, too.  I think it's called  "Persistence"!  GOOD LUCK.

don't have the mental capacity to absorb all that "extra" knowledge.  Personally, copiers have always fascinated me.  I developed an acquaintance with our copier guy, too, so that I've ended up accomplishing some "amazing" things on a copier.

some people find it "conveniente" not to know how to do certain things ... it's easier having others to do it for them.
