I just posted another Southside Baptist Newsletter on my blog. If you have time, print them out (there are several on there) and send him one every week to keep him encouraged. They have a good message as well as a little humor etc.. Hope you have a safe trip. I think it would be so nice to live in AR. We took a vacation to Sante Fe, NM a few years ago and I fell in love with all the stucco walls and pueblo style homes etc... I came back home and replaced my wooden fence on one side with a stucco wall! I love it... since we are on a corner lot it blended in well. I will pray for your friend. I lost a co-worker this past summer who suffered a severe stroke but who was, also, a diabetic. She was 41 and left behind a husband and 11-year old twin boys. I hope your friend heals well from surgery and takes good care of himself.
