I finally found a not so expensive water filter for my shower and yes i
gave away the microwave. i am going to make some nice throws to go over my computers, and stereo when i am not using them. and i just bought myself a salt lamp, it is soothing and i am told it will give off negative ions. I find it interesting and fun to try and find ways to live a healthier life.

Re: Gepruitt
If it hurt, then there must have been punches. If it didn't hurt, but you actually warmed up to it, then it must be explanations! Thanks.

I think you may be right! The un-understood word can perhaps be of value to someone who understands them precisely. But if such precision is absent when we encounter 'fuzzy' words, my approach is to dump them and look for words with more clarity. Hope this says it for me!

Yeah! The predator's approach, as if they are unstoppable. There are suprises in store for them, if what I know is correct! Thank you!

You are correct. Living spiritually is in the same 24-hour day, working and paying bills is not the same as a materialist person. His goals are different. Being spiritual means changing your focus from the temporary heavens to the permanent one. In eternity, you assure that you can't go wrong! Will read you later!

Thanks for your corroborating comments. Your awareness is picking up the contradictions inherent in segmented thinking. You , I believe, are picking up the 'whispers' and responding. It means that there is a light for those who can perceive it. Thanks!

well, it's a cafeteria world we live in.
Take what you want, and leave the rest. It's not the best way to approach any life.

I believe spirituality should be way of life
not something you do once in a while.

I despise segmented living. It reinforces (for me) the emptiness of those who live their life a certain way Monday through Saturday and then believe they can seek absolution on Sunday with a 1 hour visit to their church of choice. Equally, I’m offended by those who spout quotes from whatever book of faith they live by, yet my eyes see someone who is living their life without dimension or outward thinking. I’m not prepared to concede the society is basically evil, but the strong influences of “I am right and you are wrong” or worse, apathy, creates an environment of robotic thinking. Engaging with ourselves, with others in a respectful and compassionate manner, and listening to the whispers of a higher power are the makings of a spiritually grounded person. Responding to the whispers an even grander step.

Reminds me of something like "You have eyes yet you cannot see;
you have ears yet you do not listen"....... who said that? Very interesting post (but I expected no less!) Thank you and God bless
