I've got to agree...your Dad's cool...
...now remember. You are writing for an audience that probably is mainly interested in in getting personal clicks. For the most part, they're not interested in you or what you write, so don your thick skin and write to your heart's content. Some of the people here (and you've already met several) will lend a helping hand from time to time. But don't let negative comments, trash talking, and stupid politics sway your resolve!
