awww...I'm sorry. I really feel for you. The cat in these old scraps of journal entries was so precious to me... I got her when she was 8 weeks old and she died 2 years ago of cancer at the grand age of 16. To be honest, I still miss her terribly and quite often cry myself to sleep just for yearning for her on the bed - but she did have a good life. Re-reading the old journal entries brings back the memories like she's here again and that's bittersweet.
I am sure your Miss Kitty is a lighthouse :) And maybe my Whiskey and your Miss Kitty will get together now and then for a natter...

Makes me lonesome for Miss Kitty, who finished her 9th in 1993 and has no doubt been reincarnated as a lighthouse off the coast of Oregon.
