You are right. There has been a C change. Everyone now seems to suggest we should remain in Iraq for sometime. I am not an expert so I will not comment on their conclusions; or their reasons for arriving at such conclusions. Yet, I still maintain our incursion into that country was ill conceived and wrong.

fineyoungsinger, I just think it's odd that the first half of this campaign
Was about being the first to bring the troops home, and now it isn't. How can they be taken seriously?

The concensus seems to be the war cannot be won..... as far as I have read! But then, I am anti-war. My spiritual pursuits point me to that!

I have heard a theory:
there are alterior motives for being in the Middle East, and regardless the party affilation of the white house's next resident, we're looking at an occupation of at least 30 years.
