Poor thing...
*Sends him lots of snuggles*
Also, wanted to say thanks for your recent comments, as always. My internet is unexpectedly limited, so I chose to visit other people's blogs, instead of answering comments in my own. So, I wanted to say thank you here!

The selfish ignorance of humans never surprises me
Never take on a pet, unless you're willing to see it to the end. It's all that the animal asks, that you give it a home and commit to the pet for it's lifetime. In return you get unconditional love.
How anyone can throw that away is beyond me.

Oh God.. that's so sad.. it makes me so angry when people treat animals like that.. the good thing about it that Tolliver's coming back to you - at least he'll be loved properly now

People can be so irresponsible, they shouldn't even
adopt a cat in the first place! Gosh.
Thank goodness for you guys.

Not nice for him, but in this case I think it may well be a case of the 'unforeseen circumstance'. Maybe the aunt in CA
really wanted him and would have given him a good home, and did not expect knee surgery at that time...

How traumatic that would be for any pet. It sounds like what some foster children have to go through.
