I think the reason why some people find it harder to quit addictions than others may have more to do with their particular body chemistry and the effect on it of nicotine, than with any failure of will.  You obviously have the will and determination to hang out in the tops of trees for long hours at a time and in uncomfortable conditions, just to keep the world safe from murderous deer, so lack of will power isn't the issue.

I thing they are giving away nicotine gum you could try that/
(Hint: when they put you on oxygen don't smoke while it is on. or we will have abother 'big bang.')
