Thank you Chris - I really appreciate your comment :) I've been worrying on and off all day that I might have gone too far.. but I think I know really that if it's a case of someone posting a comment like that on a post like the one I wrote, it's 'out there' anyway.. and when he commented again today like it was a joke by now, I thought "uh uh." I'm usually a nice person, I think... but I can be a complete bitch when someone upsets me... hell on wheels (except that I haven't got wheels!)

Yes I think it's such a nuisance to find such a comment after posting a poem like that!!!!! ....
So far I'm erm trying to politely ignore said blogger ~ and you know my posts, they're hardly ever serious so it's not that infuriating for me.
Erm now on the subject of Vin Diesel .... *suddenly faints to oblivion* ~ especially since she's at the moment listening to that song that goes "I know who I want to take me home, I know who I want to take me home ....." do you know it? can't remember who's it by ....

Yeah, I read his poems the first time I saw his name.. and I would have wanted to go on reading. It's not that I mind his request or even lack of interest in the other posts, it was the stupid insensitive 'thumbs up' to my poem about my cat dying.. amongst other sad posts he made the same comment on.

Completely understand that - I would have gone and been reading his poems anyway - what isn't acceptable to me is the comment he left on what was a very painful subject for me.. and he made it worse by making another similar comment, like it was funny. It wasn't - that's just my personal feeling and I don't want to write about painful things in here and get a 'thumbs up!' response demanding I read his blog... I realise he's going about promoting his blogs in the way that he wants.. but there's a limit and he should draw the line at making insensitive comments in very personal posts (not just mine).

It's quite sad because he actually has some good stuff...
(ofcourse I visited his blog ou of curiosity ) LOL... if at least he showed some interest or even ac clue that he actually read our stuff ... I don't think anyone would mind his "request"!

Exactly, Troosha. The more I thought about him leaving that "thumbs up! Read my blog" comment on my post about my cat dying, the more annoyed I got. I mean, it's irritating anyway, but jeez... some of the posts he left those comments on.. they were really serious posts, sad ones... it's so out of order.

It is annoying - not to mention insensitive. To blast around Blogit leaving "read my blog" comments is not going to increase readership. It's only going to piss people off. We develop our readership either by content, a connection to what has been written, or a genuine interest in what someone else has to say.
