- Go to Marvelous Ability Of A Child!
Excellent point,
A child is a clean slate, a dry sponge just awaiting to absorb, our choices to offer either good or bad can build the child to her or his full potentiality; but.....this is a major but (lol), we cannot protect a child from the influences of the world, so I believe more importantly, while teaching wonders of integrity, relationship, self love and morals, as in your last post; teach children not to blame others for stumbling or temporary defeats, dissapointment or even being victimized.... It is the most difficult endeavor to teach a child they are also not to blame for the indescretions of others; relieving them of the victim mentality. I believe teaching children of God's unconditional love and acceptance is above all the greatest blessing and gift to bestow on the mind of a child! You are lovely and I'm enjoying your posts, thank you! ~Blessings~

Re: katzs
So very true. We must show good examples to our children.

If it normal for children to imitate adults in whatever way they can, be it good or bad. They learn by example.

Definitely! They also learn to get into situations where they can act out what they 'learn'!
