I really enjoyed your need... Now I'm sorry I missed the read
of you and Dave at the poetry cave. For some reason when I read .Dave's stuff -- and now yours -- my response is great silly stuff that rhymes. You must put out some vibes... Words, herds of words galloping across the pains and plain pains...

Onioni
excellent stuff

... you sounded very very undecided!!!

as for erm your last line ~ Yikes! your dark side is getting
darker!!!!
Good to hear that your Poetry night went well (but what do you mean not a drop of alcohol ~ I would have thought one had to get pissed first, to pluck enough courage to even stand up!!!)
so double
if you did all this sober!

Hi y'all (Americanism alert). Thanks for stopping by!
I don't know what to say about the poetry evening really beyond what I said below the picture and on Dave's site about an hour ago. It was good - and not a drop of alcohol was drunk, though not by choice! I thought we made a good team, taking turns to read out our poems to a load of very well-behaved people. Certainly a contrast to the rowdy comedy audiences baying for blood I stood up in front of a few years ago. Give me the acoustic guitar / poetry crowd anyday, well now that I'm not quite as up for a fight as I used to be!!

Hi Tony--that's just great! It feels to me just like the 'child' part in
you challenging the 'adult' you! I love it!Chris.

Will you please make up your mind... or need I buy you a scale for christmas? LOL
I really liked this, I was thinking about this the other day, more precisely, on excitement vs stability. LOL
So I heard your night yesterday went pretty well! That's good!

Conflicting needs - well done! You'll have to give us a sonnet about "poetry night". Sounds interesting.....

Wow
That's one of your best sonetts so far. A Villon poem came to my mind, only I don't know the poem's title in English. In Hungary we call it The Ballads of Contrasts. I wish I could do what you did.
