Interesting thought. It does seem a little much. I would hate for someone to spell out my challenges with a special name.

Glad to see you're back.
Well, I think political correctness is just another way of masking prejudice. If a short person is technically called a midget (not as an insult) , then he is just a midget...he knows he is one and probably has no problem with it... why should we make a big deal out of it? Calling him vertically challenged is making a big deal out of it, in my opinion. Well, it is just my opinion! LOL

good to see you back, did you have a vertically challenged person
as a customer, their money spends the same, now if they came to my counter for help, i wouldnt be able to see them. we worry about what to call them, how about short, but we dont build the world to accommodate them.

It's all about censorship, Tattered. Every individual is different, so
their feelings and reactions to words and terms are all different. If you interact with a "littel person", just sound them out as to what they like to be referred to. Most times, I'm sure, they will tell you to just refer to them by name...

What annoys me most about the PC crowd is that they've taken it upon themselves to be the judges of polite interpersonal interaction, becoming offended for those who can't take offense on their own (apparently)...

Welcome back!
I'm with you.....vertically challenged sounds like some kind of insult. But then again...Pollotics is a bit of an insult in itself....

Sigh...I was too concerned..I mean I was concerned too;
(attempting correct grammer). The term vertically challenged originated from a gentleman who was suffering with an ED issue. Welcome back
