Re: Hey, Fine! Nice blog...
Hi Pat B, you are so right about this! Great point. This is what CAN be great about this site; it's a great place to hone writing skills, and I think with the communal nature of this site, we must really take extra care to keep our emotions in check. It's easy to get all bent out of shape, especially when we can't see our counterpart in the discussion.

Re: I have gone to other posts and got my feelings hurt because i must have
Hi callista, thanks for reading! I can totally relate to what you are saying here. I think you are right in not visiting sites of people that are hostile. It takes away from the fun that we can all have here on Blogit. I have commented before on other people's blogs that people take themselves way, way too seriously. It's a shame, too, because they are missing out on some really good opportunities for some great dialogue.

Excellent post. I couldn't have said it better, you are so right in what you say.
We may have all the right in the world to be angry, we may have all the right to feel victimized... but we loose that right as soon as we cross the line and start doing the same to others.
I have a gained a deep respect for Troosha with the way she has handled this matter. She said what she had to say about the matter - to whom it concerned. She stated her point clearly, and stopped at that, refusing to "put more wood in the fire". Instead of continuing with the war, she had the courage to remain the honorable, lovely women that her poems reflect... and that's what she did. Instead of posting more "attacks", she chose to gift us with yet another beautiful poem.

Hey, Fine! Nice blog...
Some people don't realize humor is a weapon or that they aren't properly trained in its deployment.

Re: FYS
Soul Builder: Do you really believe that you are the only person on this earth that has been victimized? Read this very carefully before you respond to my comment here: I'm sure you've been mistreated, and for that, I have empathy. When, however, you lash out at others with the exact same behavior, you are proving yourself to be no better.
Part of being spiritually balanced and mature is being able to take a disagreement in stride. This is an area that I can see you need to work on. Please take this suggestion with the love that it comes with, and be mindful of the rules of my blog.

made a comment that was not taken well. I just dont visit that site anymore, i thought that was the adult thing to do. Some people just like drama, others like to take sides. Others just like to cash in or keep it going.

Hi TAPS, thanks for reading. There is nothing funny and charming about name calling and mud slinging. This is the kind of childish behavior I'm talking about here.
