Me, too, NightMajik. Now I just stay at home and bitch about the good ole
days, which scares the kids more than Halloween ever could...

It's a little late--
--as I haven't been on BlogIt for a few days, but a belated Happy Halloween! I did not get to do anything myself. I miss the joy of Halloween as a child running around trick or treating.

My father was in the Navy, draco. He looks like bin Laden, so who knows
if or what he dressed up like this year. I'll have to ask...

Saul, I never met a windmill I didn't like. I just try to get a better aim
and be a little more patient before I take my shot these days.

Some people would say that I am the "tool" that fights back, me and
my quixotic tilting at giant windmills... but I do dislike windmills so...

Pretty deflated, I would imagine
The world tends to do that to you. It helps to have some tools to fight back.

Saul, maybe by what can be measured on a test like that.
In terms of life, probably quite a lot. At least I like to tell myself that, lol.

Well, Zena, I'm used to the dark. LOL. The only thing I remember about
any of my tests (ACT, SAT, ASVAB, etc.) is that I scored the highest in my class on every one of them -- 27 years ago. I took that stupid test and felt like I'd learned almost nothing (and as far as that math portion was concerned, I had -- LOL) in a quarter century. Sad, really...

Saul, If I remember the scoring right, I think I got an 800 in language
Math I suck at. Always have, always will. Now that I do the math right, I think it was more like 27 years ago that I took mine, too. But like I said, math was not my strong suit, lol.
I hope they don't keep you in the dark too long.

Don't know, Zena. They said they'd call me with the results but gave
no definite day or date. I hadn't taken the SAT in 27 years. I only had to take the math and language portions. I destroyed the language section but the math section, well, maybe a fifty-fifty...

Groan, I took the SAT 20 years ago, Saul,, I probably couldn't pass one
today. I'm not as quick as I used to be. I guess that happens to us all. Are you going to hear soon about the job?

That's what I would've rather been doing, Zena. I had to take a damned
SAT test (for a tutoring position). I don't remember them being quite as big a pain in the ass. But, hey, if it gets me the candy (uh... the job), it'll be time well spent (four hours)....

As a nurse, sometimes I'd be "Nurse Ratchett," some years a witch. This year I just dressed like a bum in my cutoffs and tank top...it was a hot Halloween here in CA...
