Callista, it's true, when I finally got that
I mean really got that all I possess that I will never lose is my soul, it changed my priorities radically. I sometimes get down on myself wishing that it hadn't taken so long, but I guess the knowledge is worth the years it took to acquire it.
I like your last point, that nothing is more important than to help a friend. I agree. Where would we be without friends?
I wouldn't say that I'm happy person, in that I'm cheery and upbeat. I'm moody and I struggle with sadness, but I'm content with myself and my life. It took a long time to get here but it was worth the journey.
