Ah, I know the feeling after being transported here in AZ. But we have a good Smith's - I hope you can find a great brand. But try what you can to find good cheese.  Have you considered a goat?  ha, ha.

No you shouldn't...You should come to Ohio and visit our Amish where you will find excellent cheese! A for you and a  for Bo the Wonder Dog!

If it's a counter with clerks who wrap up your order, ask for a sample.

Albertson's bottomed out just before I went to New Mexico...
in the Southwest, Albertson's seemed to be thriving...to me it was like a miniature Wal Mart, with the varied offerings screaming at me from their bins to sample them...cheese is cheese and sour is fine but across my palate the two just don't danse very well together.

Whacky, I love sour anything....
sour pickles
sour-dough bread
saurkraut
saurbrauten
sour cream
sour gooseberries
sour cranberries
sour lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on everything
Mega Warheads sour candy
sour cheese
etc.
...You get the idea.
