I tried to ski once at Lake Tahoe, hahaha, I just did a split. It was so funny (you have me laughing just thinking of it). I never tried that again. Now, I have only one leg - that would be something, wouldn't it? hahahahaha

I don't ski either, but I like going to the Lodge and watching and spending some time talking with people and having good food.

My family members water ski and I watch. But I think it counts as a great recreation. My daughter is very good and so was her dad. I think you have to learn young. I was in my thirties and the idea of battling the water was too strenuous I guess.

Does water skiing count? I haven't even done that for years and years. My sons loved skiing in Colorado and were good at it, but my hubby would only go to the mountains in the spring, summer and autumn. He never liked the cold and snow. By the time I "got rid of him" (LOL), I was too old to take it up.

I do a bit of cross-country skiing, when we have enough snow in the area, which isn't often. I don't do any downhill skiing at all; in the past because I was a runner and was worried about my knees, and now that one of my knees is screwed up anyway, I'm not allowed...
