Thanks for sharing and good to hear that you had and have some access to Indian food. Unforutnately, most Indian restaurants outside India serve what they think the locals would like. This kind of dilutes the 'real' taste. However, sometimes next best is better than nothing, no?

Love that kind of food. A few days ago I stopped in with some friends at an Indian restaurant. It had a buffet with a small but good selection. Not so inexpensive as your meal but good value. They also had lovely homemade lemonade. I love curries, roti, naan, all of it really...
Used to live near an excellent local Indian restaurant in London and would have them home deliver for parties.

Are you serious? If you are, mutton curry is just that. Pieces of mutton or lamb cooked in a curry/gravy made of onions, ginger, garlic, some yogurt, maybe tomatoes, and spices - cinnamon, black pepper, cardamoms, cloves, etc. You can goggle the recipe or go to my blogs - I put on up several weeks ago. Cheers.

It so true. I really enjoyed street foods when I lived in Kolkata in the late 60s and 70s.
