I have an aversion to snow, so I'll pass, though that photo looks pretty

Replying to your question about my trip to New Mexico.
I wrote a long reply to your question by clicking on the reply part. I lost it when I hit the post bar. Maybe this will work because the reply bar isn't there now.
Yes, Yes, Yes I'm looking forward to the trip like a man who is lost in the desert who sees water after being lost for three days! If someone dies and screws up my trip, I will NEVER forgive them! I'm going quietly (well, maybe
not so quietly) nuts here and nine days away from this zoo is the only thing that might keep me from going postal. My brother tells me that he knows just the spots where I can see elk but he isn't sure where I can see mule deer. They both inhabit the same terrain so I'll see them. I know how to spot them but apparently he doesn't. Santokh, AKA Raghead, Sheethead and The Turbanator, is very like me in temperment and sense of humor and I'm very lucky that he isn't at all like my other brother. I'm sure he feels the same way about me. I'm trying to keep a bit of money out of Marilyn's hands so I'll be able to eat something besides bean sprouts and rice while I'm there and can put gas in his car to see the things that I miss in the west. I've spent two days away from home in the last twenty years and she is trying to make it impossible for me to go, by spending every cent. The plane tickets have already been bought by my brother and aren't refundable. After my visit with him, my brother and his wife will fly back to Michigan on the same plane, to visit family. I told him that we won;t be able to sit together because the sky marshal and every big male passenger will occupy the seats behind, on the sides and in front of the obviously sneaker bomb wearing terrorist will be filled. He has flown to India and back several times and he already knows this. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please because it never seems to work when I try it. Thanks for asking, Guy

There's something so special about that first snow fall. I miss it now that I live on the West Coast. From my window I see only rain.

That's an amazing picture! Here in the Great White North, at least in my part of it, there isn't any snow yet, we have sun and a balmy 41 degrees...
