Whacky, may be you're not toooo bright............
But, then, may be ya are - wire/staple your sticks together, spray'em with some kind of weather protector, stick them in the ground and see how your roses fare. Can't hurt to try, could be a money-making idea. Just keep Bo away from them. hahahaha

I have a lot of them, but sometimes the ideas just don't work. Sometimes, they fail big time. I'm not sure how to cull the great ones out. I guess you have to take the risks.
