Re: Kay
My sister and I drove that old rhyme home this weekend with our 19 year old niece who was calling her little 8-9mo. old baby boy a "little shit" to his face, over and over. And her language around him was horrible. We took her to visit her father in prison. He rolled his eyes as she sounded more and more like his ex-wife. He was hoping some of our family would rub off on her to offset her mother's influence. I asked her if she'd grant me one wish and that was to never let me hear her never call her little boy baby another bad word. Remember he is still a baby, and teach him what you want instead of shouting no and slapping. The next day, it only slipped out 3 times and the next day not once. I told her it hurt my feelings. My kids were REALLY little shits at times, but I NEVER would have said that to their faces. Her little boy is so good natured, he didn't deserve such a title.

Well, I suppose, or rather I am pretty darn sure that words can be deadly, if heard enough, in a negative way, OR 'push the Missile button.' You know what I mean?
