Yes my dear I already have a space blanket that I keep in there and those hand and feet warmers too..I keep candy and a couple of those energy bar snacks. I also keep water and a can of my favorite cola. Oh and the set of extra clothes is a darn good idea...thanks~

If you must go out and drive, may I suggest putting some essentials in your
car--just-n-case stuff like food, water and blankets? Seriously, I stock my car before going into places where it is even conceivable, let alone likely, that I could go off the road and be stuck without help for hours on end, possibly a day or two. Especially the water and the warm sleeping bag, with extra blankets... and a change of clothes, in case of getting wet...

Boy, you guys have even more snow than we do! I hope you have snow tires on your car! Here it's bright and sunny this morning, if cold, 18 F! I was supposed to have a meeting today but canceled it already on Friday, so I ain't goin' anywhere, and instead catch up with correspondence and maybe even write another post...
