Well stated, Ciel. I like to keep the windows and doors open to
every and all possibilities as well. The possibilities are indeed endless, including the idea that we just simply are biological constructs that have discerned ways to monitor and keep time and hope...

Re: Ciel
Lindo, there is truly very little we can know in this world: most everything we think we know, or feel we know, really comes down to belief. And no matter how sincerely we believe something, that is not enough to make it true if it simply isn't.
Thanks for visiting and commenting-- I hope you are having a grand time in Egypt!

Yes, I agree that respect is far more important than agreement!

Interesting point of view, but i think that there is a difference between truth and belief, what we believe is true is not necessarily the universal truth, however that does not make us into liars or deceivers, let me put it this way: a person who believes in something even if it was untrue can pass a lie detector test because he is convinced that what he believes is right.

I found this a very interesting view of another, as I'm always interested in how other perceive things. Once again, if we all do it with that element of respect, then I feel no harm or offence can or should be caused. Take care.

As Naut said, although I may not agree fully with the content of your post your views were laid out with excellence!
Narrow views of the possibilities amplify misunderstanding, raises absurdity to enshrinement in faith... This statement I fully agree with.

Well, I may not agree with you on all points, but I do on many. And even if I were not to agree at all, this would still be very well argued and written...
