- Go to Knight......Correcting the Holiday Correction
Tattered Knight
I'm a bit late catching up, but I have to agree. I have no patience with political correctness when it comes to diminishing a time-honoured tradition like Christmas. Happy New Year to you.

Eeek gads, I always say happy holidays because of Christmas and New
Years, just laziness I suppose. I could say
have a very, Merry Christ Mass and a Happy New Year as well...I guess I just did now, didn't I? I don't know about being politically correct, maybe in the public working with customers or employees, customer service agents and management must be ethically considerate. I don't, therefore I've never given it any thought other than decent human kindness, politeness and consideration.

Oh, tannenbaum, my tannenbaum, it's just a damned ole fir tree.
Oh, tannenbaum, my tannenbaum, it wouldn't be Christmas without thee.
HMMMMM, HMM, HMMMM, HMMMM. Da, da, dah, dah...
LOL. Political correctness is ruining our lives. Nothing is what it is until it gets a good whitewashing for protection against its human reality.

I'm tired of it too
what's wrong with a little tradition

I couldn't agree more with you here. I wrote a piece on how politcal correctness goes mad at this time of year. Here, companies ban staff from putting Christmas gnomes on display, ban them from displaying Christmas cards, ban them from putting those 4 inch toy trees you can put on your desk, all because they might offend someone . . . HELLO . . It's Christmas. I guess they've all been hanging around Ebenezer Scrooge. Have a blessed festive season. Take care.
Bless

I'm a politically incorrect person anyway.
I have a Charlie Brown wanna be Christmas tree this year, stands about a foot and a half on the coffee table. My Christmas cards are scattered between three offices and my Christmas stocking is hung with care, but my holiday stockings, now that’s another story for another time....
