An abacus I've used - a webTV console is before my time.

I'm afraid so, guys - you can blame Pat_B for chasing the spiders out of her shower.

majroj

I sometimes accompany Ell as she browses around Agape looking for bargains for her online store.   As she does, I wander through the book section.   I know exactly what you mean about the 'self-help' 'chicken soup for the big toe' platitude books.   The strange thing is that some of them are worth money.

I've never considered wandering around old Blogs.  I did notice a few weeks ago that you left a comment from one of my old blogs, and it surprised me.   Blogiteer?.....now there's a frontiersman description if ever there was one.  I must use it one day when some youngster asks me how I pass my time at my age.  "Son, I'm a Blogiteer - been doing it now for more years than you've been born, in fact when I first started we used punch cards."

Strictly caveat..but I can find old junk in libraries too

When I see the miles of shelves covered with pop-psych and spurious "self-help" and "do it yourself" stuff from the Seventies and Eighties, it makes me itch.

Wading  around in old Blogits can be interesting.

There are still many for people who left and didn't realize it would persist until/unles they request it be removed. I tried one email link and it still worked...then the ex-Blogiteer blocked that e mail account.

Pat
Ah-Ha!   You are the culprit!   Instead of cleaning up the web, they are in your shower.  At least they won't have any problems trying to stand on one leg as they scrub the other seven, but you must go through a lot of towels, Pat.

There were two spiders in my shower this morning.
Perhaps that's why the creaking misinformed BS remains online and available. :)
