Oh no, Jo! Is that how your poor little friend was knocked out? Poor little critter! No worries, it wasn't your fault. So, you've decided to name it Gag, huh? Interesting!
Do you happen to know if it's male or female? I've never studied Ornthology, but from what I understand, the way to tell the difference is by the size and shade of the bird's beak. Males usually have larger, darker coloured beaks while females tend to have smaller, lighter coloured ones.
I'm not sure if that's true of all bird species though, so please don't quote me on this, okay?...
When I was a little girl, we had a blue jay get caught somehow in the window sill of our back porch. The poor thing screeched and squaked and hollered and made such a fuss it woke every one up. My dad released the poor critter, but it paid the price with an injured foot.
Anyway, cool drawing! I'm going to read the first bit of my DRAWING FOR DUMMIES book this morning, so I'll fill you in later on how far I manage to get with it today.
Hope you're having a good one...

Yes I think the problem with humour for me is when I am trying too hard to be funny.
Thanks for dropping in,
Jo
