Whacky & Bo
I stopped eating gum about half a million years ago, Whacky.  As for 'barking dog on picnic table,' it sounds a bit like Samantha.  If she can hear it or see it, it is in her territory.

Hahaha..I figured Bo was standing his ground on some principal Whacky! LOL...

The last gum I chewed was Dentyne (sp) and you stick the whole thing, paper and all into your mouth. It dissolves and Whacky I have no idea how that paper turns to gum but it does!

for Bo the Wonder Dog and for you!

Whacky
This post of yours reminded me that I haven't had any 'Doublemint' in a long time! It used to be one of my favourites. I never liked 'Spearmint', though. It also prompted me to look at what's on the box of the green-coloured gum I have sitting on my desk here, and it tells me all kinds of stuff I don't want to know. Among other things it tells me that it contains Aspartame, and then it informs me that Aspartame contains Phenylalanine...I'm surprised it doesn't contain any information on how to chew! But if you need to know that as well, they they have a number on the box you can call...

Remember that striped gum with the picture of the zebra?

Wacky
I love how you can take the simpliest of topics - like gum - and turn it into an amusing read.  I used to like the bubble gum that came with a little comic strip of Bazooka Joe?  Am I dating myself or do you remember that gum as well?

Whacky,
I swear, man, me and you think about so much of the same stuff it is scary. BTW, the Chicklet thing reminded me of one day (this is so dumb but it's one of those things that never leaves me cause it was so damn funny) k, so when I was like, 20, my roommate came into the room, out of the blue, waves at me saying, "howdy" and smiled a really big toothy grin. The killer was that she had taken chocolate and blacked out one of her front teeth. From 10 feet distance it looked so real. Still cracks me up to this day.

Whacky
I tried some new kind lately that was supposed to have special tooth whiteners in it.  It didn't seem to make any difference on mine.

Do you remember making gum chains?
I made a huge chain in junior high.  I remember tearing the paper in half so carefully and folding them just so to be uniform.  Then the multi packs came out and everything was white! I'd probably still be at it today if things hadn't changed. That gum chain would be miles and miles long...

Whacky, my favorite is Juicyfruit.................

although I like Doublemint too.  Over the New Year's, my little grandson tried to give me some trick fruit gum.  When I started to take a piece of it, he said, "no, Nana, it's a trick and it will turn your mouth blue."  Later, I went into the room where he was watching tv and his lips and tongue were the deepest blue I've ever seen.  He had the whole pack in his mouth.  Yeah, I guess it works!  hahahaha

A  for you and a  for Bo, the wonder dog.
