thanks for the pep talk! yes, things are going to get tough before they get better. I have decided to leave, but when I told him, he played the "I'll do anything" card and right now he is being so damn nice, trying to salvage it . . . but it is just too late. I am waiting for the "real" side of him to come back - I can easily kick that one out.

The agony of separation and longing are so well addressed in this poem. It is a feeling that you portray that can or has happened. Most enjoyable in technique and structure! sam
