A Flame
To mourn? To truly berieve those lost from us? Or to dwell... to become lost in oneself. I'm not sure which I do in remembering those passed, but I know your poem resonates with me deeply.
Thank you,
Chris James

Feels so sad Kayzzaman-as tho' you're undecided whether you want to
live on-or exit our world!Having said that-I do know how you feel-LIVE-each and every moment-life is far too short to worry! Well written.Chris.

Good morning, Kaz. I was so taken with this poem. Waiting for the wind... Our Father is on the wind. So gratifying to read and ponder. Congratulations! sam

Good work
I particularly like the last line, the portrayal of distance with those abstract things.
Also, responding to your comment in my journal, I am not from Japan, but I currently live here, and was interested in the country for quiet some time before even moving here.

kayzzaman, a candle burns out...

what's the point of living if we spend it worrying about dying...candle burns out my love, but the light remains in your heart...when it gets dark you just close your eyes and a light will guide you from your heart...

So sad,
I love your words: "How far is the heaven, how far is the dawn from the dusk?" I have felt like that more times than I care to admit Impatient and wandering how long did I have to hang on.

Be well and hang in there sweetie.
