Then I ask, what is love and hate? Are they really opposites? If love is caring, then is hate 'not caring'! Or is hate more like the enemy posture: active aggressive loathing and intent! Can I not care, yet not hate? This just made me think!!!!

I don't read much poetry.
And when I do read it on Blogit, I usually don't comment. But I find much power, passion, and deep reflection in your posts. I scrolled back through more than a dozen posts. I particularly liked this one, "The best friends I ever knew," "Vanity," and the tributes to your parents. I'll return when I have time to sample more. Keep on keeping on.
