And about who is of god and who is of the devil?
The Apostle Paul said that Satan appears as an angel of light, and that his servants also appear as ministers of light.
Now, who fits this category on Blogit?

RSM, now on to your comment to my father
I do not daily attack anyone. In fact I am less likely to attack anyone in my posts compared to you, who has a blog titled 'The Democrat Party: America's Cancer'. How is that not attacking people's beliefs? If you wish to try and make this religious in nature, understand you are saying this in my political blog, which would imply you views here have some political link to them. what do you consider at attack towards someone's faith any ways?
"They should be prayed for due to their choice to have faith in only Man and earthly things, which are clearly forever under the influence of the devil whenever he is allowed by Man's choice to invite him."
That kind of thing sounds to me like an attack against atheists to me. Hell, just read your blog "God: The Common Denominator is you wish to see someone who seems to desire to attack with every post he writes. In just about every one of your posts there you generalize about atheists and put them down as much as possible. I know my posts are no where near that bad. According to you I am unhappy and evil, and that somehow my family did not heal my mother, even though I have no doubt at all that my mother is alive today because of family being there for her more than anything else.
And if you have not noticed blogs out here which practically daily go after atheism, then you really do not read much. The reason I started my religious blog was because at the time all the top blogs in the religion category were very much attacking atheism and it bothered me greatly and I wanted my voice to be heard.
As for doing the 'devil's' work, I am about ready to burst into laughter over such a statement. Both Gomedome (Who is agnostic by the way) and myself have written posts mocking those like you who love to try and paint us as being pawns of the Devil. It is amusing that free thinking and such are considered evil things by those like you.
Once more I would like to point out that this is a political blog, not religious in nature. You really seem to have such a hatred for me that you go off subject as much as possible to try and attack my character. I really do not attack your belief very much if at all. Go and find for me proof that I do this, especially that I do this daily.
I do show respect for all belief (Much more than you show for any set of beliefs not your own) and if you were to pay attention you might see that there are a fair amount of believers here who have no problem with much of what I say and see the valid points I often make. My guess is that they are not as blinded by unfocused hate towards liberals, atheists, freedom, justice, democracy, the laws of the land, and logic as you are.

RSM, now you admit you hate logic. It explains a lot about you really
Once more, I have never claimed that you back up Huckabee. Obviously your views differ some from the group of die hard conservatives that are backing Huckabee. I am really lost as to why you seem to want this post to be about you. It is not obviously, since using logic I would have to point out that I never mentioned your name here. I never said ALL conservatives at any point. And I do not for one moment believe that you are the living embodiment of conservatives.
Next, I would have 100%complete faith in an atheist for president. There is no doubt in my mind that an atheist could do a far better job than the last half dozen or so presidents we've had in office. Now this is about faith here. Just like you have your faith, I have mine. Logic would say that no one knows how ANYONE could deal with things in such a position of power. Yet we can look at the way people act to figure out most likely what they would do. From what I have seen and experienced, atheists would be more about not forcing any religious ideas and following the idea of the Bill of Rights, doing all they could to ensue true religious freedom for everyone. Logic would also say someone like Huckabee, who has openly said he wants to change the Constitution to reflect his religious ideas, would be very likely to force his religious beliefs on others. We only need to look at Bush here who has made it clear that he would like to be able to force his religious beliefs on others, a mentality which often seems to be part of the main stream conservative agenda. A for if Huckabee has forced his religious idea on Arkansas or not, I can't say. Just because no one has protested does not mean that it is happening. I really do not pay much attention to other state's political activity.

Re: ACTUALLY I DON'T SEE WHERE MY SON HERE IS GENERALIZING
Kooka-Daddy, I do not support Huck, never have and never will. I know that my beliefs would require that I pray for Kooka but if Kooka does not believe in God then that his choice. God is free choice. You can either accept Him or not. However, I refuse to stand by and see my belief attacked daily by Kooka and Gomedome. I never started out on Blogit with daily blogs attacking the topic of atheism. I have never noticed such by anyone on here ever over the years. But with Kooka and Gomedome it is a daily attack ritual. This tells me that they are truly consumed with the idea of attacking God which leads me to think that they, even though they will admit not believing in a devil, that they are doing the devil's work and that is what I take objection to, understand?
The only reason that you see me posting blogs concerning atheism is due to the fact that my beliefs on here are attacked daily. Kooka is a minister under ULC which states the acceptance of others' beliefs and I do not see where he is doing so ever. He should practice the tolerance that his belief proclaims.

Re: RSM
Oh, Spock Kooka, do not use logic to discuss this issue. I am far right and always have been and always will be. That is the exact reason why I have not supported Huck in this campaign. I support a strong conservative across the board, not just religion. Huck has not been a strong conservative across the board. You see? It is more than just religion that I look for when choosing a president.
By the way, logic would prove that you do not know how an atheist would govern as president since there has not been an atheist in office at least in my lifetime. So how can you make that statement? I know that you have faith in only Man but that is making a stretch when you say that you KNOW an atheist would or would not do anything. You do not know. You also can not say that Huck would "force" religion on anyone because he has never been president. I do not recall hearing any outcry from Arkansas during his term as Governor as being a religious dictator. Your argument here is bogus.

ACTUALLY I DON'T SEE WHERE MY SON HERE IS GENERALIZING
Huckabee has made statements that he would like to change the constitution to make it more "religion friendly".
Many conservatives support him (check the election results, particularly in the Bible Belt).
And many conservatives tell you one thing while doing quite another altogether -- like they will tell you there is no groundswell of support for Huck; however, the support is certainly there, and I would surmise that somewhere in conservatives' blogs, we find statements of support.
And tolerance? -- What we want is protection from intolerance. You guys turn things around to make them seem what you want them to seem to be.
My biggest problem, as is the problem with Kooka and others who view religion askance, is that religion is INtolerant, taking issue when others take issue with its intolerance.
If you want respect, you have to give respect. Huckabee and those who support him do not give respect to others' views.

RSM
An atheist would never try to destroy the Constitution or attack freedom by trying to force his/her religious ideas on everyone else, as Huckabee seems to desire to do.
I never said you supported Huckabee, just that right now the more die hard conservatives seem to be supporting him. Now I am talking about the real right of right here, I guess you are just not that far to the right. These are the people who feel that all the other Republican candidates are too liberal. There was no generalizing going on here. I find such an attack on my character very hypocritical coming form you. Not surprising, just hypocritical. Have you ever written a single post here that was not filled with blind, ignorant generalizations?

Well...
your comments here about Huck would be the same if I would state that I certainly hope that no atheist ever run for president. You go minister, you are doing a fine job of being tolerant and accepting of all religious beliefs there pal! Where is your love for humanity?
