Even bitter truths, when uttered with the intention of damaging or disparaging or hurting someone, is worse than cold lies that can be protective, but conveying the message effectively.

With such a thoughtful & patient mother, it's only a matter of time
before those girls will grow up into elegant ladies who'll make their mother proud..keep up the good work ! - Ash

the whole post is beautiful and jus what i needed to hear, thank you
and like my mom always said if you dont have anything good to say dont say anything at all and yes i try to live by the golden rule and i often put myself in other peoples shoes and realize how it would feel therefore i restrain myself from creating unnecessary tension and above all i try to let love conquer everything cuz afterall love is all you need

I hate the excuse "I didn't mean it that way" - that drives me nuts.  If someone (me) takes it as offensive then that's my reality and by extension what was said to me must have been unkind or harsh.  All it takes is "I'm sorry" - words that seem to have been misfiled these days.  As always, you leave us with positive thoughts to begin our weekend!

Forevermore you are my heroine, I thought it to be challenging to raise one daughter and yet you are handling four with such candor and grace. Negativity is an easy, pointless option. I think siblings are cruel to each other in any generation! My motto is to remain positive throughout the day, night, just always. I can vouch that it pays greater dividends than being an ogre.  The best reason is to jus make people smile. I know it works because people are so delighted to see if I have been away for a few days. It gives me great confidence to continue to seek good. I believe once your daughters reach maturation they will have a deep respect for each other and they will come to realize the questions you pose now will save many a bump in the future. I am very proud of your actions and your stance, your girls could not ask for a better mom! (I am so sorry you do not know baseball, but I am happy you were able to the gist of the poem. This afternoon I will post a poem for you about adolescence I observed when mine were at the age of circa 14).  sam

Thank you for your comments; may your blessings be many for I fear you need them more than most!

Another Sad Day

I know you are trying to be good, but good is not good enough anymore.

Einstein was an idiot!  Knowledge is far superior to imagination.

Forget yourself and self respect. Love God and your fellow human beings!

Do judge those who are causing misery!

Please wake up from your daydreams and enter real life responsibly!
