He would probably say that indirect force is used by manipulatory adults
and all nations, Naut.  But I could be wrong...

It all depends on what their convictions are, elysian -- for me. I think
some people are delusional, some power hungry, some extremely callous, some megalomaniacal, some manipulatory, some altruistic, some noble, etc., etc.  Some are a combination of some of these things.  Dying for one's convictions are noble only if the convictions are noble.  Otherwise, dying for one's misinformed or delusional convictions is asisnine and probably for the better, so as not to spread the idiocy to too many more people.  An example of this not being the case is suicide bombing...

I see!
And what would David have to say about the indirect use of force?

A horrific travesty
albeit, I do respect those that sacrifice their very lives for their convictions.  I do not respect those in authority that place innocence in harms way for their own

Women do rule in some places, Sinome. It would be no better. It's all
about power, domination, leverage.  I'm all for a matriarchal ruling system...

What is there to be confused about?  War is a terrible thing, it always has been and it will always be. There should never be wars waged, but there are.  Our children should not die in battlefields of places they can not even pronounce. Money spent in killing should be spent in progress.  Its a mess, given. Maybe they should let us women run the world

But it is a reminder, mysteria, and we need to be constantly reminded of
that devastating conflict.  Look at the fact that it is rately mentioned in the news of late.  That is not good...

where I live one of the landowners affixed a very bright LED display on the top of a five story building, counting off the money spent on the WII. The thing ticks off thousands and thousands each second.

Very avant garde of said landowner and assuredly opens the eyes of those who read it, but unfortunately in just gives me a sense of  token gesture...<<Me Looking perplexed...

Oh...Hello BTW

Yeah, that's why the body count gets higher every day, sam... We've
been distracted by politics, the economy, and Britney... the war is now "winnable" as we (the U.S.) approach 4000 dead and 30000 wounded, not to mention the hundred thousand or so Iraqis that have been killed and the million or so displaced... It is the singlemost important thing this country is involved in at present and it isn't even making the evening news anymore...

It is not making headlines so we must be making progress.  sam

I'm not confused anymore, SEEDLINGS. I'm just pissed at what that
moron and his bobbleheaded henchmen have got this country involved in...
