Re: Hi LadyCee,
Thanks, MandaLee.  I love to hear the word "sweet" attached to this kind of blog!

Re: A very honest post and you are so beautiful, inside and out.
Ahhh - Thank you, Kabu.  I AM like the old saying, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."  And the results were not so bad -- I kept my other half, my sanity, my groundwire, my girlhood love for forever.  He's more the typical man that sometimes needs HIS groundwire tested to see if there's still a spark, like tonight. He bought me a baby cake and a birthday card 11 days late, but who's counting, right?  HIS birthday is tomorrow and I had to argue with him about buying him a gift.  He drives me now, and he had to go out anyway for dinner things. I had my piggy bank cash, (literally).  I prevailed and tomorrow I will give him "A New Earth." (He thinks I got him something from the hardware store!)

Re: BC_A
Yes, I am surprised at how happy I am, actually.

How wonderful to have great reunion with an old friend and I'm sure Jay has nothing to worry about.  Still, it must be hard for him to see given your troubles in the past.  We can forgive and re-embrace but some things still linger even if ever so slightly.

I'm one of those who's been paying attention since early on
And, because of the barbed wire & chewing gum that's holding my memory together, I have to check my crib notes from time to time, but this story and your way of telling it never disappoints.

continued happiness to you, and I'm glad you enjoyed time with your old friend.

A very honest post and you are so beautiful, inside and out.
I'm glad you can remember the sweet love that you had without bitterness or regret and maybe love with your  husband is safe and enduring.
