This is great, Sam444s lovely poem brought me to your blog. Time, GREAT TOPIC.
I've written a few lines on time myself. You've got me stirred.

TAPS, I can't imagine you getting a poor grade on
anything you wrote! In case of doubt, I'd take your own judgment over that of the teacher...

Re:
Sam, time may well be an illusion; whether it's one that pacifies us is another question. I don't see much 'pacifism' in the world...

Nautikos, When I was in high school, my English teacher gave us an assignment to write a poemo--any subject. I chose "time" for the topic. The poem was terrible. I didn't make a very good grade on it. But, the attempt at writing on that subject taught me how hard it is to nail down and describe.

I am with you, I look forward to the continuation. I couldn't help but smile when I kept seeing your sunkist@ timepiece. For my contention is that time is an illusion that pacifies man. sam

This one will be just as fascinating, I know, as your other series.....and I'll look forward to reading. I want you to know that I have been reading your series....just never feel smart enough to comment as I do not keep up with world politics, much to my shame I should say....well, I do say it but I'm struggling to keep up with those here at home and they are quite urgent, too....I'm afraid I'm also suffering from a horrible case of apathy beyond basics

3 Times
The Awakened One spoke of 3 times
The past
shaping what is now and to come
The Present
right here were we are
The Future
arising from the past and the present

My head is spinning
I can't wait until you have time to really get into this topic!
It still amazes me how obsessed we are with measuring time, and trying to keep it under control. We move our clocks backwards and forwards, add extra days to our months. When we're not fiddling with it, we try (in vain) to fight time with cosmetics and "time saving" technology.
