Heartfelt and passionate! We can only add those mothers to our prayers each night in the hopes that one day it will be better for them all. Absolutly stunning in it's form.

(((Purple))) oh this was so astonishing in the voice, the emotion, the passion...Very very touching.  and yes, I imagine that the stress, the suffering, the angst and everything involved with separation from a mother and babe child would be devestating and hard to bear.  I commend these women, daily for their decision to secure safety and hope for their own, for others.  May God bless ~ May God speed those, them, any...all homeElyse

So sad, Purple_Mermaid, so hard to do.
I cannot imagine the pain of having to leave a little one behind or to allow someone else to adopt.  I don't think I would ever get over it.  And yet, I know life goes on.

You have a wonderful spirit, Purple. You are also quite insightful.
Necessity dictates a lot of what all of us do in our lives. Some of things are extremely difficult...

The passion and emotion you infused into this heart-rending poem...
...makes me speculate as to how close to you this situation is. As a single father who fought to get my kids, such a scenario is unthinkable to me.

Altruism, a mother's love.  I would like to know your thoughts surrounding the making of this poem. Beautiful images coupled with a lovely poem.  You are very talented, although I am sure you already know that.
