The call of the past is strong in most of us -- because we have lived it and have learned from it. The future is unknown, sometimes frightening -- but we must continue on, if only to honor the past. Very nicely done! Thank you for sharing!

Powerful and poignant. I visit nostalgia often, I must admit...I miss my elders and days of what seemed so differently good, better but yes as you say, with the memories comes a reminder to carry on and I pray I bring even more richness and quality to our lineage. This was a touching poem, Poet. Thank you
