- Go to Piles of Pleasures
Sounds like my lifetime, Kayzzaman. I've always had piles of pleasures, but hidden in the piles were sorrows amidst the pleasures. For instance, when my son died at 22, it was a terrible sorrow, but my pleasures were my other sons, my DIL's, my grandbabies, loving extended family. Amidst the sorrow, we all pulled together to comfort one another and remember David together.

Kayzz
Rather sad - at least the ending was - but it's a gripping piece.

oh this is so sultry, how pleasures play in the night ~ this is a great poem, flows well and succinct in/of its whole ~
