This here is the line of the week, for so many reasons:
"So as a coda to this piece, let me remind you to keep walking. Knock on unexpected doors along the way, and remember there's perfect beauty lying just over the next hill."
As to the muse, you haven't lost her, Wild Bill; she's just leading you on, as she should. One never quite catches her, just tantalizing glimpses, promises, essentially exactly what your piece here sings about so clearly.
