I do hope it doesn't take the destruction of many more people and the rest of nature before those in power are either outsted and replaced by better qualified people to look after the really important matters or have a radical change of heart and begin to think of the very earth and people who sustain them and have put them on a pedestal instead of their own glory and pockets full of pennies. There are also more than enough indicators by now of radical geological, socio-political and ecological changes immanent within this or at most the next decade (already happening in a less noticeable degree but ignored by those who hunt only pleasure and comfort). We should learn from our collective human mistakes and preserve our knowledge for those who survive the turmoil and ecological disasters heading our way.
