Oh this touched me...you reminded me of the (4) children I have had to let go ~ A Mother's love has to stretch so far, and the pain in the stretching begins with their birth ~  This is sooo touching to me...Good to write this Good Elyse

Thank you so very much cheugon! It was a painfull time for me--as I guess it is for all Mums and Dads! I  have four Sons-three are away from home now-but my youngest is still here! I often think how very 'still' my worlld will be-if and when he flies the nest? But to balance the scales-I genuinly DO hope he will one day! I would dearly love to see him become independent-during my life time! Independent and happy to be so! Thank you again.Chris.

So poignant...
...and heart rending and beautiful! I'm getting close to that phase of parentood with my 17 and 19 year olds. It hurts when I think about. A wonderful poem that resonates only too well!
