The war itself and the money spent is obscene. The destruction and
death of innocents is beyond obscenity, a horror so pervasive we have to numb ourselves to it in order to function. Your words express moral objection to all. Keep writing!

Imagine having spent all that money
on a domestic/national/internal security and anti-terrorist strategy and structures.  Personally I think that would have been the better option.

this is an incredible piece and by now i would hope most people share your sentiments cuz obviously profit is all that is, was, and will b behind that atrocity in iraq...bush and cheney need to b assassinated or better yet put on the front lines then they might think twice about all their foolish actions
