America seems to do better when we keep 'God' (Anyone's idea of 'God') out of things.  Basic concepts of 'God' have historically been shown to fall short of what is needed of them and so should be avoided as much as possible by an society that truly wishes to achieve great things.

Thank you for your 2 cents there.  I am always ready to hear a counter point to my posts. I will be putting up a post in my religious blog here shortly that talks about the idea of 'God' and why I disagree with you here.

Phenomenal post!
But we were a nation founded on people seeking God and their freedom to believe and worship the way thay wanted to. God is whoever a person decides God is. God should still be there because just because one person's God is not the same as another's doesn't mean one is right or better than the other, that's what the freedom is about. Not to only worship the Christian God but to seek out "God". Just my two cents.

Kooka Lives,
The notion of "God" or a belief in God is not an organized "religious" function for me! Religion or Christianity is a form of isolation or separating people into groups against the "truel" Word of God! Excellent post! But I would like to bring "God" back to America! I do not think it would hurt!
