Thank you and you are right; I needed my own identity without a doubt.  I moved up here last May and am I am still acclaimating to the not so occasional "ay?", that pasties are a main food supply and well, venison will never ever be my meal of choice.  Oh yes and of course EVERYONE is related to everyone else here LOL!  But the beauty in the summer can't be beat and the fact that your neighbor will check in on you when they haven't seen you in a couple of days or a total stranger will stop to help you when yu have car trouble sure makes up for a great deal.

Re: Hey Hey!

Bel,

As I told another reader, I used to live in the Kewanaw peninsula for a decade, one year. Being 1/4 Finn, I have relatives living in Calumet. (Let's keep the fact that I am part Finn to ourselves) One should need a passport just to visit the UP.

I'm glad you no longer call yourself Military wife. You ought to have your own identity, and not be defined by who you are married to. The name Bel is nice. I am glad that you have a sense of humor. That makes several that I have heard from or met. I guess you aren't as rare as I thought. Thanks for reading my stuff.

Hey Hey!
I have both a sense of humor and breasts!  The problem is this:  Yooper men were put on this earth to be confounded and befuddled by the women in their lives.  It's in the rule book.

Re: North

Troosha,

You also have a talent for stating the obvious. Never the twain shall meet. SIGH! If only there was another, third sex, (excluding gay) that either sex could opt for if underwhelmed by the choices we now have. I wonder what the children would look like! Ha! Ha! Thanks for having a good sense of humor. I have a talent for finding those without one.

We've got a sense of humour - it's just vastly different from that of Mars dwellers.
