I do fully understand, KaBoom...
I just wanted to mention the other perspective, which of course does not diminish the horror of that terrible event...

In my home we discuss the merits of the bombing as well. The aftermath is so devastating. It is so difficult to look at the pictures of the people. sam

I think it's terribly sad
that people felt the need to even create such a weapon, never mind use it.
And I can relate, with J! Mark often tells me it's time to stop gaming, and I usually reply with "just let me finish this one thing!". It's usually the last minute of an epic battle, or when I'm right in the middle of saving the "world" from some horrible monster!
Good for you for making him stop playing--us gamers need someone to intervene, and bring us back to reality on a regular basis
