Re: Guy

Naut,

I guess that they would have turned down serial installments of the lives of Jeffrey Daumer, John Wayne Gacy and the Green River Stalker, too! Go figure!

Bel told me that she has a submission that has been on Helium for a year and she has earned $.25. Let's see, if they begin disbursing money after one earns $25.00, in 100 years she can collect her earnings. Ha! Ha!

    Good to hear from you.

Guy

That business with buying one walkie-talkie is hilarious! The guy who sold it to Marilyn must still be chuckling!

As to Helium, I joined, but when I offered them stuff from one of my series they told me they didn't takes serial writings. And I have no time to write anything else right now, so that's that...

Re: Oh and as for Helium

Bel,

Thanks for the info on Helium. I only just signed up on it, but the three postings that I can check on are in the top 1/4 to 1/3 of their categories after two days. I wonder if they change after that. I guess that time will answer that. I will certainly look at associated content. Thanks again,   Guy

Oh and as for Helium
I only have on article published there...it has earned me .25 in a year, I don't actively work it so it may be different for others.  I like Associated Content though, check that out if you haven't already.

Re: Cracked up

Matt,

I do take life as it comes. Are you telling me I have another choice? I'm all ears! I have wanted to see New Zealand for many years. I read about one small shoreline where the temperatures don't freeze or bake all year long. I think it is on the western shore. The scenery is breathtaking, the people speak english, (after a fashion) and a short drive will allow one to go salt-water fishing from anywhere you are. I love mountains, hunting and fishing, it sounds heavenly!  I agree completely with you about China, politics and the military. To quote the line between Bogart and Claude Raines, in Casa Blanca, "This could be the start of a beautiful friendship."

Glad to meet you,   Guy

Hahahahahahahahaha maybe she is preparing for anything with the

leg.  As for the dryer, just go to Sears get one of the scratch and dented models, runs great just has a few marks.  Trust me it's cheaper than the bargains in the end.

Outhouse huh?  I'll have to remember that, as my husband made fun of me, when I met him and asked about just that.  My grandpa had a cabin with no running water and an outhouse, so before our first visit to meet the Aliens up here (AKA the in-laws), I did ask what the bathrooms were like.

Cracked up
I read a few of your entries and cracked up laughing really good.  You certainly take life as it comes.
